When I was a teenager, my mother owned one. It was pretty awful. Sure having the top down is nice, but getting it over 60 took a lot of planning, and it twisted like a slice of lime.

I am not a manual only kind of guy, but my Metro was slow as can be with a 5-speed, one of these with the 3-speed auto sounds positively terrifying.

O ne of our neighbor’s care givers, (she has MS,) had a red one of those a few months back. It was really pretty clean other than the paint being super oxidized...  Certainly an interesting chapter in automotive history.
